Reply yes or tap the link. If the place is still open, you're in, or on the bench where the organisers pick. Not this time? Just say no.
Why players join
Football, any format
Football 5, 7, 8, 9 or 11-a-side. Pick the ones you play.
Your level, your call
Pick Novice, Intermediate, Advanced or Pro, or leave it blank. A club looking for a certain level only asks players who match it.
Stop any time
Pause, change your details or stop from your own link, or send STOP.

Adults only: you'll be playing with people you haven't met yet.
Your details stay private
- Clubs never get your number from MatchTime. It's only shared if you join a club's WhatsApp group yourself.
- A club sees your first name and the first letter of your surname, and only once you say yes to its game.
- We keep your postcode district, never your full postcode.
Questions
What does a game cost?
Each club sets its own match fee. An offer shows you the club, the venue, the day, the time, the format and the cost before you say yes.
Do I have to say yes?
No. You decide each time. If you leave 3 offers in a row unanswered, MatchTime pauses your game messages until you say you want more.
How do I stop?
Your own link, sent when you confirm on WhatsApp, lets you pause, change your details, stop game messages or delete everything. You can also send STOP to MatchTime on WhatsApp.
Can I join a club I played for?
Yes, if you both want it. After a game, MatchTime asks you and the club, and once you both say yes it sends you the link to the club's WhatsApp group.

The player pool is separate from your own club. If you already play with a club on MatchTime, nothing changes there.
